Over the course of just a handful of years, Shelby Queen has gone from the Mudtown On-Ramp program to a CrossFit veteran and Mudtown staple.
She frequents the 4pm class, but she will go to any class she can in order to fit it into her schedule! If you haven’t had the pleasure of getting to know her, we are here to help.
What do you do for a living?
I am an Occupational Therapist at an inpatient rehabilitation facility. I help people to regain mobility to increase their independence in their activities of daily living.
Where are you from originally?
How did you hear about CrossFit, and what was your first workout?
I heard about CrossFit while in high school. I did it on off-season as a Tennis player for a few months. I decided to give it a try again during COVID to get out of the house. Although I do not remember my first workout, I do remember that I did nothing correctly and was very confused Editor’s note: Shelby’s first CrossFit workout was not at CFM 🙂
How many days do you CrossFit? What classes do you normally attend?
I try to attend 4x a week but anywhere between 2-4 days a week. I normally attend the 4pm class.
